On October 26, 2023 local time, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Foreign Minister Wang Yi held talks with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Washington, D.C. during his visit to the United States upon invitation.

This visit reciprocates Antony Blinken's visit to China in June this year. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on China-U.S. relations and issues of mutual interest and concern in a constructive atmosphere.

The two sides will continue the talks on the morning of October 27.
