In the afternoon of April 8, Ambassador Yin Chengwu met with Georgia Wallen, the country manager of the World Bank in Liberia, and the two sides carried out friendly exchanges on strengthening international cooperation.

Yin introduced the principles of China’s Africa policy – sincerity, real results, amity and good faith and Global Development Initiative, and expressed his willingness to work with the World Bank, Liberia and other multilateral institutions to promote tripartite cooperation for the development of Liberia.

Wallen introduced the cooperation between the World Bank and Liberia, saying that China has always been a major stakeholder of the World Bank and that she would like to carry out exchanges and cooperation with the Chinese Embassy in Liberia.
