Two years running since Liberians over whelming elected president Elle Johnson Sir leaf in 2005 with the popular mandate of transforming the entire Liberian Society following years of a collapsed state as a result of nearly15 years of arm conflict.

To help paddle the state of affairs, the African first women president of Liberia madam Elle Johnson Sirleaf assembled a high profile professional Liberians including Dr. Richard Tolbert current chairman of the National Investment commission{ NIC}whose private sector empowerment style managing skill continues to attract the attention of investors and diplomats.

December 12, 2007 Wednesday was another historic moment for the Liberian private sector development when the Chinese Ambassador accredited to Liberia hosted dinner in honor of family of the NIC at the china embassy in Congo town Monrovia.

The dinner in honor of the NIC boss and his staff provided the opportunity for both the china Ambassador and Dr. Richard Tolbert to share discussion on the empowerment of the Liberian private sector with investors encouragement been the key their discussion.

Dr. Richard Tolbert describing the NIC as the only one stop shop for investment growth in Liberia stressed that, president Elle Johnson Sirleaf  led government will always have it doors open for investors in the country.

Speaking further the NIC Chairman, Dr. Richard Tolbert indicated that the Liberian government through president Elle Johnson Sirleaf was very concern about the Liberian private sector empowerment therefore will constructively engage investors and friendly nation such as china.

For the empowerment of Liberian private sector, the stressed that the Elle Johnson Sirleaf led government through the NIC will always open it arms to business people, investors and diplomas for a cordial working relationship for the benefit of Liberian.

He praised the Chinese's foreign mission to Liberia for the dinner notion that it would serve as an investment boast to the Liberian private sector empowerment.

For this part, the Chinese ambassador praised the NIC chairman Dr. Richard Tolbert and staff of NIC for the hard work and smooth relationship between Liberia and china.
